Tramezzino
Ingredients
- 8 Slices Soft White Sandwich Bread, crusts removed
- 200g Cooked Ham, thinly sliced
- 150g Mozzarella, sliced
- 2 Tomatoes, thinly sliced
- Handful of Rocket (Arugula)
- 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
- Salt
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Instructions
- Lay out the slices of bread on a clean work surface.
- Spread the mayonnaise evenly over one side of each slice.
- Layer the ham, mozzarella, tomato slices and rocket onto four slices of bread.
- Season lightly with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, mayonnaise side down.
- Press the sandwiches gently to help hold the filling together.
- Cut each sandwich diagonally into two triangles.
- Chill for 10–15 minutes before serving for the classic soft tramezzino texture.
- Serve immediately.
