Chocolate Avocado Mousse

Ingredients

  • 1 Banana
  • 3 tbsp Cacao
  • 1 Avocado
  • 2 tblsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • pinch Sea Salt

Instructions

  1. Peel and stone the avocado, then peel and roughly chop the banana. Place both into a blender or food processor.
  2. Add the cacao powder, honey, lemon juice, vanilla extract, water, and a pinch of sea salt. Blend until completely smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed.
  3. Taste the mousse and adjust the sweetness if necessary by adding a little more honey or a few drops of stevia.
  4. Spoon the mousse into small glasses or dessert cups. Sprinkle with extra cacao powder or cacao nibs if desired.
  5. Serve immediately, or chill for 20–30 minutes for a cooler, firmer dessert. If the banana was not frozen, chilling is recommended before serving.
