Chicken wings with cumin, lemon & garlic
Ingredients
- 12 Chicken Wings
- 2 cloves minced Garlic
- Zest and juice of 1 Lemon
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Honey
Instructions
- Using sharp kitchen scissors, cut each chicken wing at the joint into two pieces. In a bowl, mix the garlic, lemon zest and juice, cumin seeds and olive oil, seasoning well.
- Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight if time allows.
- Heat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan) or prepare a barbecue. Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking tray and roast for 45–50 minutes until crisp, turning occasionally. If barbecuing, cook for about 20 minutes, turning regularly.
- During the final 10 minutes of cooking, drizzle the wings with the honey to glaze. Transfer to a serving platter and serve hot.
